The story of what might have been for the Phoenix Suns--the 1992-93 season. This is as close as they've ever gotten to a championship--much closer than Steve Nash's teams have reached. It was possibly the quirkiest NBA team ever seen, a wildly diverse mix of talents with great strengths and weaknesses. Phil Jackson, then Chicago Bulls coach, said they were "very unconventional" and "a team of oddities," which is where the title phrase comes from.
